Announcements for March 13th

Posted On: Wednesday, March 13, 2019

River Ridge SAB is hosting a Spikeball tournament on March 22nd after school.  It's $5 to play, and winners get Chick-fil-A gift cards and the bragging rights as the school's top Spikeball team. It's also free to watch, so stick around after school on March 13th to support your friends and teachers! Sign up to play by scanning the QR codes around the school, or through the "Payments" section on the school's website and pick up a waiver from Ms. Nelson.

Prom tickets can now be purchased online on the River Ridge website for $75 each.

Are you ready for Prom yet?  We now have Queen Custom Couture, a local gown store right here in downtown Woodstock that has over 3000 Designer Prom Gowns in stock.  They have gowns in every size and every price range.  If you tell them you are a student at River Ridge High School you will get 25% off of your Prom Gown and 50% off of shoes to go with it! Don’t wait because they also have a Prom Registry so you will be the only one in your Prom gown!  They offer layaway too.  Stop by Queen Custom Couture at 9010 Main Street in Woodstock!

The last Blood Drive of the year will be Friday, March 22nd. If you are 16 or older, you may sign up with Ms. Jordan.  ALL donors must have a valid ID on the day of the Blood Drive. Anyone 16 or 17 MUST have a parent permission form signed and turned in to Ms. Jordan. Sign up soon as slots are filling up fast!

If your counselor signed you up for Work-Based Learning and you scanned the QR code for Mr. Ewers then you must turn in your application to room 1306 or you will forfeit your opportunity to participate in Work-Based learning. All applications are due before Friday.

Attention all seniors!  It’s that time of year to order your Graduation Yard Sign.  Your Homeroom teacher will pass out your order form in homeroom today.  Please see Coach Wilt or the front office if you need an extra form.  Get your order turned in ASAP because it’s first come first serve!

FCA will meet this this Friday at 7:30 in the auditorium! All students and teachers are welcome to attend!
