It’s the third day of red ribbon week which means it’s time to get educated on the effects of the harmful contents you may be putting into your body. It’s also Halloween so have the happiest of Halloweens and stay drug free tonight!
If you do drugs or have thought about involving yourself with drugs you should know this first: Over 90% of those with an addiction began drinking, smoking or using illicit drugs before the age of 18. So let’s be aware at an earlier age and defy the statistic! It us up to us and our age group to make a change!
Dress to promote drug awareness, your theme for tomorrow is:
Dress as a Superhero (superheroes don’t do drugs)
Make sure to make your way to the auditorium during your lunch period on Friday to listen to a guest speaker share their testimony and stories in relation to drug usage in Georgia.
Don’t forget to sign the red ribbon week banner in the lunchroom during your lunch period!
If you sign the banner and make an appearance at a TedTalk during your lunch period, you may enter in a raffle for a chance to win a gift card to some of your favorite places, so don’t miss out on that opportunity!
Drugs aren’t cool they make you act like a fool.
