Announcements for December 7th

Law and Justice Skills USA students are accepting unwrapped blanket, stuffed animal, and toy donations in Mr. Jeffers' room (#1119) by the tree. These items will be given to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office to hand out to those in need it during the holidays. It can very traumatic dealing with a crisis and having something to give to children or a blanket for someone who needs it can help a lot. We can accept donations up until December 14th. Thank you for your help in making this time of year a little better for someone else!

 

In the Spring of 2020, Knights will be heading to Ireland, Wales, and England!  If you are interested in this remarkable opportunity, please see Mrs. Bulger or Mrs. Hamilton and join us for our informational meeting on December 12th @ 6:30 P.M. in the Media Center.  If you plan to attend, please scan the QR code on the posters found in the hallways and RSVP!

 

All around the school are blue and white flyers with a big QR code for a chance to be in this year’s yearbook. Please scan these QR codes and complete the short survey!

 

River Ridge TSA is sponsoring a hat day on Monday, Dec. 17th – for just $1.00, you can wear your favorite Santa hat, reindeer antlers, or you can even represent your favorite football team!  All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society and to River Ridge TSA.   Look for the table outside the lunchroom

Next week is our holiday spirit week and the themes are:

Monday: Flannel Day (Cozy up in your favorite flannel!)

Tuesday: Holiday Colors (Wear red, green, white, and blue)

Wednesday: Holiday Pajama Day (It will be $1 to participate, and all donations will go to St. Jude)

Thursday: Tacky Sweater Day (Wear your tackiest sweater!)

Friday: Seniors dress as Santa and Mrs. Claus

Juniors dress as Christmas tress

Sophomores dress as reindeer

Freshman dress as presents

Teachers dress as elves
