More than 200 senior football players, cheerleaders, marching band members and JROTC cadets had one last night under the lights as CCSD high schools came together for the 2018 Varsity Brands Senior Bowl. The White team, comprised of players from Cherokee, Creekview and River Ridge HS, claimed the win over the Gray team, formed from Etowah, Sequoyah and Woodstock. All proceeds from the charity game went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Sponsors for the event included:

The Jeep giveaway raffle, sponsored by Shottenkirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, was won by Kim Jones.
