Assistant Principal, Mrs. Lee Davis
I’m very excited to be offered the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a growing school. Clark Creek Elementary STEM Academy is certainly a “place to be” assignment. Eleven years ago, I began my teaching career with Cherokee County School District. My teaching experiences include all grade levels and a variety of classroom environments at Oak Grove Elementary and Indian Knoll Elementary. I have served students from the grade level classroom to gifted resource to a STEM specials rotation. Last year, I was fortunate to be named as the Instructional Lead Strategist at Indian Knoll, and I have immensely enjoyed my time as an ILS. I earned my bachelors degree in business from Kennesaw State University and my masters in education from Western Governors University. Over the last decade, I have obtained a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College along with various other endorsements including gifted, science, and coaching. Over the summer, I will begin my leadership certification through Piedmont College. I believe in being a life-long learner.
My family lives in the Holly Springs area near Sixes Road. I have a husband, Bruce, and our son, Mack, is a product of CCSD via Cherokee High School. We very much enjoy being involved with our family, and we have a niece and nephew at Hickory Flat Elementary. As a proud graduate of Etowah High School, my roots are planted deeply in Cherokee County, and I am honored to serve our community.
